Baseball Queensland Athlete Development Program Announcement

The BQ Pathway Programs are in its final stages of preparation for 2020 Winter Phase. Baseball Queensland adopts Australian Institute of Sport’s (AIS) FTEM framework fostering a Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) approach. Duplicating AIS’s ‘FTEM’ model, Baseball QLD’s has intentions to provide programs suitable for a wide range of players with varying abilities. Below is Baseball QLD’s Pathway Framework

Online Registration


  • $110 (+GST)

Time Frame

  • 1 x session per week
  • 11th July – 30th August (8 weeks)

Age Groups

  • Little League
  • Junior League
  • U16/ U18

Locations and Schedule South Side

Venue: Wests Darra & Indians Runcorn  (alternating between Brisbane South and Brisbane West venues)

Day: Saturday’s


  • Little League: 2:00pm – 4:30pm
  • Junior League: 2:00pm – 4:30pm
  • U16/ U18: 2:00pm – 4:30pm

Dear Members,
Brisbane West Region is always looking for new players especially females interested in playing Baseball. There are exciting opportunity for female baseball players in 2020 - 2021. There will be opportunities for female players of all ages to play at "Female State Titles" Event Dates will be posted when they come to hand.

Interested In Coaching a Regional Side?

The Brisbane West Region is always looking for New Coaches.

To find out more please talk with a Region Committee Member that is affiliated with your club.

Teams will be selected through tryouts that will be held leading upto the Queensland State Titles.

The Brisbane West Region will call for expression of interest in the following positions for all LL, JL and SL sides

•             Head Coach         (minimum Level 3 Coach Accreditation required)

•             Assistant Coach

•             Pitching Coach

•             Executive Officer

•             Team Scorer

•             Team umpire         (minimum Level 1 Umpire Accreditation required - Yellow Shirt)
