First Annual Wolves Hit-A-Thon

First Annual Wolves' Region Hit-A-Thon

When:  Sunday, 26 March 2017 10am - 12noon
Where:  Western Districts Baseball Diamonds

What:  The monies raised will go towards regional costs for improving the quality of the programs offered by the region year round.

How it works:  Each player is given a pledge form.  The players go around to family, friends, neighbours and generous contributors in the community seeking pledges.  These players then go to Western Districts on Sunday, 26 March to get 25 chances to hit pitched balls into the field of play (fair territory).  Afterwards, the players go back around to the pledges and collect the equivalent funds.  All funds will be turned into the Regional Treasurer.  Copies of the pledge sheets will be taken before the players participate in the Hit-A-Thon.

Example:  Johnny gets Uncle Bryan to pledge $1 per hit.  Johnny gets 20 hits at the Hit-A-Thon.  Johnny then collects $20 (20x$1=$20) from Uncle Bryan.

Prizes (for each team):
1st Place = 100% Team Fees Paid For (not including uniform)
2nd Place = 50% Team Fees Paid For (not including uniform)
3rd Place = 25% Team Fees Paid For (not including uniform)
